Abstract
The integration of autonomous vehicle (AV) technology within supply chain networks presents new opportunities for optimizing Distributed Order Management (DOM) systems. This paper evaluates the impact of strategic integration on supply chain performance, focusing on how AV-enabled networks can enhance the efficiency, agility, and resilience of supply chains. By developing a comprehensive framework, this study explores the optimization strategies necessary for leveraging AV technology in DOM systems. Key areas of investigation include the coordination between AVs and traditional logistics infrastructure, the role of real-time data analytics in improving order fulfillment, and the challenges of aligning AV capabilities with existing supply chain processes.
